Tour of the museum

The apartment in which the Rahbeks lived can be seen in the east wing of the museum. The furniture, colours of the walls and the hanging of the curtains are based on contemporary information.

Two rooms are arranged as memorials to the poets Johannes Ewald and Adam Oehlenschläger. In the south wing there is a reconstruction of the Rahbeks’ kitchen, and in addition there are rooms used for temporary exhibitions and for the museum library.
